If you’re looking for the model at your Mazda dealer that can accommodate the most passengers, check out the three-row CX-90. This all-new model for 2024 accommodates up to eight people, and it’s available as either a traditional gas model or a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV). Explore this spacious crossover if you’re looking for an elegant, family-friendly SUV.

Performance and Fuel Economy

The gas model of the CX-90 delivers a class-leading 25 combined city and highway miles per gallon. You can choose between either a 280-hp engine or a more powerful 340-hp version, both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. This CX-90 can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

The CX-90 PHEV gives you the equivalent of 56 mpg and the ability to travel up to 26 miles on battery power alone. It also has standard all-wheel drive and includes four selectable driving modes, along with an available Towing mode. The powertrain delivers 323 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and it can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Interior Space and Features

Both versions of the CX-90 offer flexible interior space with seating for seven or eight, depending on whether you select a bench or captain’s chairs for the second row. If you go with the captain’s chairs, consider the optional second-row center console for added convenience. The CX-90 incorporates premium standard amenities like automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and synthetic leather upholstery.

The gas version of the CX-90 gives you nearly 16 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, along with another storage area under the cargo floor. You’ll have slightly less room, about 15 cubic feet, in the back of the PHEV. Both models give you the convenience of a standard power liftgate. The PHEV also comes with a standard glass panoramic moonroof and heated, leather-trimmed front seats.

Infotainment and Driver Assistance

Both CX-90 models come with a standard 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as voice recognition, Bluetooth, and an eight-speaker stereo with HD radio. You can upgrade to add navigation, a larger touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and integrated navigation, and a wireless charging pad.

Advanced driver assistance tech helps you avoid collisions in the CX-90. You can take advantage of standard equipment such as stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, blind spot monitoring, and much more.
