Pad Thai dishAsian fare is comforting and delicious. If you live in Wakefield, you have a lot of great Asian options to choose from. Check out any of these four great restaurants the next time Asian is the order of the day.

1. Sa-Tang

Sa-Tang serves up a large variety of Asian dishes at its location on Main Street. Appetizer options include steamed dumplings, scallion cakes, and spring rolls. Traditional dishes such as yakisoba, pad Thai, and stir fry dishes are available, as well as delicious curry entrees. There’s no need to fear the heat. Dragon Palace of Wakefield is located on Kingstown Road. The hardest part of your visit to Dragon Palace will be trying to decide on a dish from its huge menu. Dragon Palace offers lots of appetizer options including soups, tempura dishes, dumplings, and spring rolls. Main menu items include noodle dishes, such as lo mein, chow mein, and chow fun. Stir-fries, hot pots, and other delicious Asian fare are also on the menu. Vegetarians will love the large variety of options available to them at Dragon Palace. An extensive list of sushi and sashimi options are also offered.

3. Tong-D South Kingstown

Tong-D means “Good as Gold” and you will find the dishes prepared by Chef Nick at Tong-D just as valuable. Located on South County Commons Way, Tong-D serves up delightful Asian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes. Tong-D has a nice variety of items to choose from, including noodle dishes, fried rice, wok dishes, and chef’s specials, such as pla goong salad, seafood prik pow, and seafood pad ka-ree. There are several gluten-free and vegan options available as well. If you visit Tong-D, be sure to check out their unique daily specials. Reservations are recommended when you visit Tong-D.

If you want to take a little Tong-D home, they also offer a variety of their homemade sauces, salad dressings, Thai tea, and coffee available for purchase.

4. Kabuki

At Kabuki on Old Tower Hill Road, you can enjoy time-honored recipes prepared with a modern twist. Kabuki serves up delectable Asian cuisine, sushi, and cocktails. Signature sushi options include the Angry Dragon roll, Six Flags roll, and the local favorite, Wakefield roll. Asian classics include curries, wok dishes, rice, noodles, and hibachi. Lunch specials are always available and include quick and easy boxed options for those in a hurry. Kabuki offers online ordering to make lunch and dinner easy.
