Mazda has been switching things up for the last few years. For the 2024 Mazda lineup, new models are replacing old ones, as some vehicles will no longer be in production after 2023. Before you visit your Mazda dealer, learn about the new Mazda models you can expect to see.



In 2024, Mazda will have five models in the lineup. These models are the Mazda3, CX-90, CX-30, CX-5, and the CX-50. Aside from the Mazda3, the other vehicles in this year’s lineup are SUVs. 



Mazda3

The Mazda3 will be available as a hatchback or a sedan. This model has a total of seven trims. Sedans will be available on all trims except the 2.5 S Premium, while hatchbacks will be available on all trims except the base 2.5 S. 


The base model has a standard Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine with a six-speed automatic transmission that can generate 191 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. The premium paint color options are Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Machine Gray Metallic, Polymetal Gray Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, and Ceramic Metallic. 



CX-90

The CX-90 is an all-new electrified crossover SUV with 11 model options. This SUV has three rows of seating, a maximum towing ability of 5,000 lbs, and three electrified powertrain options. The EPA estimate of this SUV is 24 MPG in the city, 28 MPG on the highway, and 25 MPG combined. The CX-90 is essentially a replacement for the CX-9 from previous years. 



CX-30

The 2024 CX-30 sees a few important upgrades and new packaging. With eight trim levels, drivers will certainly find a level of performance, style, and comfort that meets their needs. The 2.5 Carbon Turbo trim is new this year and features a turbocharged engine with a bespoke exterior design. All models will include standard features like rear seat alert and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. 



CX-5

The best-selling CX-5 has a few updates, such as the improved fuel economy for the 2.5 S models and a Carbon Turbo package. Some carry-over standard features from last year, such as rear cross-traffic alert, advanced smart city brake support, and Mazda radar cruise control with stop and go. 



CX-50

The CX-50 is the most capable SUV in the Mazda lineup. The stunning design and off-road capability make this SUV a great option for all-terrain driving. With two powertrain options and eight trim levels, you will certainly find a model that meets your off-roading performance demands.
