A white Mazda sedan

Available in a considerable number of trims and packed to the brim with features, the 2024 Mazda3 sedan is an excellent choice for any driver looking for their next compact car. With six different package options ranging from the affordable Mazda3 2.5 S up to the premiere 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, there’s sure to be an option for you.

1. Mazda3 2.5 S

The baseline 2.5 S is a solid entry point into the Mazda3 line. Its comes with a SKYACTIV-G 2.5 DOHC four-cylinder engine engine, front wheel drive, and LED headlights and combo taillights as standard options. You’ll also enjoy a host of driver assistance features, including a lane departure warning system, lane-keep assist, and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go tech.

2. Mazda3 2.5 S Select Sport

The 2.5 S Select Sport is very similar to the baseline model with a few notable cosmetic upgrades. These include black dual folding heater side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a glossy black finish on the grill, and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a black metallic finish. You’ll also get several additional available color options to further customize the look.

3. Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred

The 2.5 S Preferred adds memory positioning to the side mirrors as well as a power sliding-glass moonroof with one-touch opening and an interior sunshade for even more comfort. The Preferred also has a slightly different aesthetic compared to the Select Sport with a silver metallic finish on the wheels instead of black.

4. Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition

The 2.5 S Carbon Edition is where the Mazda3’s performance really steps up. This model comes with i-ACTIV AWD instead of standard FWD for a more confident driving experience in difficult terrain. Notably, this model also adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration with an improved 8-speaker sound system, a potential selling point for particularly connected drivers.

5. Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Turbo

As the performance-focused version of the 2.5 S Carbon, the Carbon Turbo edition boasts a 250 horsepower SKYACTIV-G 2.5 Dynamic Pressure Turbo Engine with i-ACTIV AWD to replace the Mazda3’s standard four-cylinder engine. If you’re a fan of earth tones, this is also the only model available in the Zircon Sand Metallic exterior color.

6. Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus

As the height of luxury in the Mazda3 line, the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus comes with everything in previous models with the added benefits of Signature aesthetic touches, an upgraded Bose 12-speaker premium audio system, and helpful extra features like a windshield wiper de-icer. If you want all the bells and whistles Mazda has to offer, this is your Mazda3.
