2019 Mazda CX-3

Available in Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims, the CX-3 features the distinctive Mazda grille flanked by sleek headlamps and signature daytime running lights. The Sport trim offers keyless illuminated entry, color-keyed door handles and power side mirrors with turn signals, stylish black bodyside garnish, 16-inch alloy wheels, dual bright exhaust tips, and a rear roof spoiler. The Touring trim adds automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, and 18-inch wheels. Grand Touring models feature LED front and rear lighting, adaptive headlamps, and chrome bodyside and front accents.

Powering the CX-3 is a responsive and efficient 148-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 146 pound-feet of torque to the front or all four wheels. Paired with it is a quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission.

Models with front-wheel drive will return up to 29 mpg for city driving and 34 mpg on the highway. All-wheel drive models give you up to 27 and 32 mpg for city and highway driving. The CX-3 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in around 8 seconds, which makes it one of the quickest in its class. In Sport driving mode, firm suspension, a nicely weighted feel to the steering, and the slick transmission provide exciting performance on twisty backroads.

Sport models seat five people in comfort and feature cloth upholstery with sport seats and 60/40-split folding rear seats. With the rear seats in place, you have 12.4 cubic feet of cargo space, which increases to 44.5 cubic feet with the seats folded flat. Also standard are cruise control, air conditioning, push-button start, a multifunction steering wheel, and an electronic parking brake. The Mazda Connect infotainment system has a 7-inch touch screen with an integrated backup camera, a multifunction control commander, voice recognition, Bluetooth wireless for music streaming and hands-free calling, six-speaker audio with internet radio, and USB and auxiliary inputs. Touring models add faux-leather-trimmed seating with heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a leather-bound steering wheel. Grand Touring offers leather-trimmed upholstery, an active driving display, paddle shifters, a power sliding moonroof, a navigation system, and a premium Bose seven-speaker sound system with satellite and HD radio.

Safety is at the forefront of the CX-3, and standard features include dynamic stability control and traction control for confident handling, while the anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, and smart city brake support provide assured stopping power. To aid the driver, the CX-3 has blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, low-speed frontal collision warning, hill launch assist, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Grand Touring models add adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, a lane departure warning system, and automatic high beams.
